Goals / Remit
Moda re- es un proyecto de Economía Circular y Regenerativa, basado en recoger ropa de segunda mano para darle una segunda vida, creando empleos para personas en situación o en riesgo de exclusión, de hecho, este tipo de empleo suponen más de la mitad de los 1.300 que generan los diferentes proyectos textiles de Cáritas España. La ropa que recogemos, se prepara para su posterior reutilización, re-manufacturación, reciclaje, donación social dignificada a personas vulnerables y venta con fines solidarios y sin ánimo de lucro. Nuestra iniciativa plantea ir más allá de la sostenibilidad, haciendo que nuestra gestión del círculo completo de la ropa usada, desde su recogida, clasificación, reutilización, reciclaje, donación y venta social, genere un impacto positivo no sólo social, sino también medioambiental. En el proceso de tratamiento integral del textil, reducimos los impactos ambientales asociados al consumo.
