    As a global energy and chemicals company, with Group sales of EUR 39 bn and 20,600 employees (31.12.2023), OMV produces and markets oil and gas as well as chemical products and solutions in a responsible way and develops innovative solutions with a special focus on the circular economy – delivering on the pledge to reach net zero by 2050. Through its subsidiary Borealis, OMV is a leading provider of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. OMV produces and markets fuels and feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in UAE. OMV operates ~1.700 filling stations in eight European countries. In addition, the activities include Gas & Power Eastern Europe where it operates a gas-fired power plant in RO. OMV explores and produces oil and gas in 3 core regions: CEE, MEA, and the North Sea.
