PFA Pension, Forsikringsaktieselskab

PFA Pension forsikringsaktieselskab (“PFA”) is a domestic financial institution engaged primarily in the business of pension and life assurance. It has its registered and head office in Copenhagen, Denmark and is subject to applicable laws and regulations in Denmark. PFA is regulated by Finanstilsynet, PFA’s lead regulator.
The pension premiums exceed DKK 20 billion p.a. and by far the largest area of business of PFA. The customers of PFA are mainly private businesses and organizations. PFA receives contributions from the employers and employees. Typically the contribution is part of a company pension scheme and the employer contribution is deducted from his or her salary. Consequently the money is paid from the account of the employer directly to PFA.
