    Goals / Remit

    La Plataforma Tecnológica Española de la Construcción PTEC tiene como objetivo contribuir a la mejora del sector de la construcción a través de la cooperación público-privada en la investigación, el desarrollo y la innovación, llevada a cabo entre empresas, asociaciones empresariales, universidades, centros de investigación, centros tecnológicos y clientes. Creada en octubre del 2004 y promovida inicialmente por las grandes empresas constructoras españolas a imagen de la recién creada Plataforma Tecnológica Europea de la Construcción, tiene una clara vocación de ayuda al sector construcción en toda su cadena de valor. Al día de hoy la PTEC tiene 155 socios.
    La PTEC se constituyó en Fundación en 2010 y en 2012 se decidió profesionalizar su actividad, dotándola de personal que desarrolla las actividades de la Fundación con el apoyo de los miembros de la Plataforma.
    La PTEC cuenta actualmente con 13 Grupos de trabajo.

    La PTEC participa en el proyecto Europeo:

    "Metabuilding" METAclustering for cross-sectoral and cross-border innovation ecosystem BUILDING for the European Construction, Additive Manufacturing and Nature-Based Solutions industrial sectors’ SMEs.
    The consortium consists of 15 institutions from 9 countries representing the key sectors: additive manufacturing, nature-based solutions, digital industry and circularity & recycling. The consortium includes national platforms and other stakeholders representing the construction sector and actively engaged in bringing innovation to the traditional built environment. https://www.metabuilding.com/about/
