Goals / Remit
TRMEW - The Polish Association for Small Hydropower Development is the oldest and the largest non-profit organisation related to the RES sector in Poland. It groups together small hydropower plants proprietors, operators and sympathizers as well as companies representing hydropower industry. TRMEW was founded in 1988 and at present it associates almost 500 members.
The activity of the organization concentrates on four areas: (1) representing SHP on the political arena by active participation in legislative processes, (2) creating a positive image and promotion of small hydropower sector, (3) integrating SHP branch by organizing branch meetings, conferences and trainings, (4) education in the area of small hydropower issues.Main EU files targeted
