    Raiffeisen entered the Romanian market in 1998 by founding Raiffeisen Bank S.A., which was merged with Banca Agricola in 2002. Raiffeisen Bank is deeply anchored in the Romanian market, providing a comprehensive range of high-quality financial services and products to almost 2 million customers, including 91,000 SMEs and 5,700 corporate clients. The Raiffeisen Bank’s local outlet network covers the entire country, all 351 branches being located in the urban area.
    The bank is considered a leader in innovation among banks in the market and is constantly aiming at implementing new products and services for its customers via the most relevant and attractive channels. This is because the Bank's constant priority is to deliver enhanced experience to its customers by developing capabilities on three pillars: Digitization, Simplification and Data. By doing so, the bank wants to provide its customers with simpler, faster, more intuitive banking experiences.
