Reusable Packaging Europe

The purpose of the Association is to promote within the territory of the European Union the interests of the Members in the broadest sense of the word in the area of reusable transport packaging systems and return logistics, including: (i) improving the economic, commercial, legal, technical, scientific and ecological framework; (ii) promoting, protecting and representing common interests; (iii) improving talks, the exchange of expertise and information around interest issues and mutual concerns; and (iv) promoting cooperation.

The Circular Economy Action Plan;
The Farm to Fork Strategy;
Directive 94/62/EC on Packaging and Packaging Waste;
Directive 2008/98/EC on waste (Waste Framework Directive);
Sustainable Product Initiative;
Legislative initiatives related to food contact materials (such as Regulation 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, and Regulation 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food).
