Goals / Remit
RCDS seeks to represent the interests of students (from higher education institutions) on a national and European level. We monitor current legislation regarding higher education and research policy on both the national and European level. We try to lobby for our positions through public statements, campaigns and through dialogue and communication with political representatives on all levels.
Main EU files targeted
In our interest are policies targeted at the higher education institutions, student exchange programmes, research policy and international science diplomacy. Also, mobility policy affecting student mobility throughout Europe are of interest. This includes both a broad and a narrow focus on mobility i.e., infrastructure, mobility options like the Interrail-pass, student (…and teacher…) exchange programmes, digitalisation policies affecting the higher education and research sectors.
