    Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung des Naturschutzes. Der Verein bezweckt den Schutz und die Pflege von Natur und Umwelt als Lebensgrundlage auch des Menschen, insbesondere die Abwehr von Gefahren, die dem Leben durch Verschmutzung der Gewässer, des Bodens, der Luft und der Nahrung drohen. Der Verein verfolgt diese Ziele u.a. durch Information der Öffentlichkeit, Abgabe von Stellungnahmen und direkte, gewaltfreie Aktionen zur Stärkung des Umweltbewusstseins und Abwehr von Gefahren für Natur, Mensch und Umwelt, durch entsprechende Aktivitäten zum VerbraucherInnenschutz sowie durch die Wahrnehmung der im Grundgesetz garantierten Grundrechte und den Einsatz für deren Bewahrung.
