Goals / Remit
Roofit.solar mission is to boost distributed renewable energy generation by making solar architecturally acceptable and financially affordable. Our Building Integrated Solar roofs combine traditional metal roof and innovative solar technology into one product (2in1). Our roofs look and operate as regular roofs with a power generation function. There are 80 million houses in EU suitable for Roofit solar roofs and we can contribute significantly into achieving EU climate neutrality targets.
Main EU files targeted
Supporting the effective realization of EU green deal policies in order to significantly increase the energy efficiency of the existing building stock. Building in EU are currently causing ca 36% of EU GHG emissions and 250 million houses would need the energy renovation in order to meet to EU climate targets. Solar energy is the cheapest form for generating electricity according to the International Energy Agency. The following policies are targeted - energy efficient buildings (Energy / Climate action),
