    Schweizerische Trassenvergabestelle. Öffentlich-rechtliche Anstalt. Die TVS verantwortet die diskriminierungsfreie Eisenbahn-Fahrplankonstruktion und teilt die Fahrplantrassen auf dem schweizerischen Normalspurnetz unabhängig zu. Des Weiteren führt sie das Eisenbahn-Infrastrukturregister und ist für das Inkasso des Trassenbenutzngsentgelts im Auftrag und Namen der Normalspur-Infrastrukturbetreiberinnen verantwortlich. Sie trifft ihre Entscheidungen frei von Beeinflussungen Dritter.
