Goals / Remit
Fakultet šumarstva i drvne tehnologije Sveučilišta u Zagrebu sustavno razvija nacionalno i međunarodno prepoznatu izvrsnost u obrazovanju i istraživanju u šumarstvu, drvnoj tehnologiji i srodnim područjima koja se temelji na uspostavi sustava kvalitete te prijenosu i primjeni znanja za dobrobit i prosperitet društvene zajednice.
Kao najstarija i jedinstvena nacionalna ustanova u svom djelokrugu, Fakultet šumarstva i drvne tehnologije je predan stvaranju i širenju znanja utemeljenoga na suvremenim znanstvenim spoznajama. Slijedom toga, temeljna svrha Fakulteta šumarstva i drvne tehnologije je stvaranje, analiza i razmjena znanja putem nastavne, istraživačke i stručne djelatnosti. Prioritet djelovanja su studenti za koje su razvijeni obrazovni programi usklađeni s potrebama realnog gospodarstva, što će ih učiniti vrsnim stručnjacima i vrlim pojedincima na dobrobit našega gospodarstva i društva u cjelini.

The working group on 'Nature and Forests' has aim to provide a platform for constructive, solution-oriented dialogue among stakeholders at the interface between nature and forestry. The working group, being a temporary sub group of the Commission’s Expert Group ‘Coordination Group on Biodiversity and Nature’, will tie its work to the wider biodiversity and nature discussions with stakeholders. The concrete deliverables will feed in the implementation of the 2030 EU Biodiversity Strategy and the development of its future Action Plan.Address
