    Goals / Remit

The Lawfare Project is a non-profit organization. We have a network of legal professionals that contribute our skills, time and expertise to defending civil and human rights of the Jewish people, and fighting discrimination wherever we see it.
We fight discrimination by providing legal counsel and services to members of the pro-Israel and Jewish communities who have been targeted and harmed based on their ethnicity, religion, citizenship, or nationality.
We advance human rights by combatting extremism. Our network takes legal action against individuals and organizations that provide material support to terrorist networks, while producing educational materials on the global threat posed by radicalization.
The Lawfare Project produces research that educates policymakers about the threat of lawfare—the abuse of the law as a weapon of war against democracies.

    Main EU files targeted

    1. In March 2018, we filed a complaint addressed to Ms Michele Merloni, the EU Directorate General of Trade against the Control of Economic Activity (Occupied Territories) Bill 2018 that was being at the time, debated in the Irish Parliament.

    2. Today, August 25, 2020, we have submited a contribution to the action plan for a comprehensive Union policy on preventing money laundering and terrorism financing. The submission addresses following FATF Recommendation 8,
the vulnerabilities and threats, the most vulnerable charitable activities, the terrorist abuse risk indicators, proposing enhanced due diligence screening for the prevention and detective of the abuse of non-profit organizations for terrorism financing.
