Goals / Remit
The Navigator Company is a bioindustry with a purpose. Its sustainable products and solutions are natural, recyclable and biodegradable, and are the result of a responsible business strategy focused on people and the planet. As an integrated producer of forests, pulp, paper, tissue sustainable packaging solutions and bioenergy, Navigator supports its business on continuous R&D, and world-leading, state-of-the-art mills.
Annual production capacity:1.6 Mt of paper, 1.6 Mt of pulp and 165,000t of tissue and 180,000 converting; rated power production capacity of 375.5 MW.
Navigator has a vertically integrated forestry business with its own forestry research institute and is responsible for planting vast areas of woodlands in Portugal, 100% certified under the FSC® and PEFC. More than 92% of Navigator's products are sold outside Portugal and are shipped to 134 countries.
Navigator will decarbonize its industrial complexes in 2035. Between 2019 and 2028 has invested € 340M in this area.Main EU files targeted
