Goals / Remit
The Norwegian Shipowners’ Association is a trade and employment organization representing 130 member companies in the intercontinental, regional and offshore shipping segments. The members are the core and driving force in the Norwegian maritime cluster and employ over 55,000 seafarers and offshore workers from more than 50 different nations. Globally, Norway ranks as the fifth largest ship-owning nation measured by fleet value, with more than 1700 ships and rigs all around the world.
The NSA works to advance its members' interests in the development of national and international industry policy, employer issues, competence and recruitment, environmental issues and innovation, in addition to safety at sea.
