Eurooppa-toimisto seuraa Turun kaupungin ja Varsinais-Suomen maakunnan sekä muiden alueellisten toimijoiden (esim. kuntaomisteisten julkisten yritysten) kannalta merkittäviä EU-politiikan aloja, lainsäädäntöä sekä rahoitusohjelmia ja vaikuttaa niihin tarvittaessa antamalla instituutioiden edustajille tietoa lainsäädännön vaikutuksista. Lisäksi tehtävänä on alueen osaamisen ja hyvien hankkeiden tuominen EU-instituutioiden tietoisuuteen sekä alueen tunnettuuden lisääminen tapaamisten ja tapahtumien kautta.
