    Goals / Remit

    Velocys is an international UK-based sustainable fuels technology company. Velocys designed, developed, and licenses proprietary Fischer-Tropsch technology for the generation of clean, low carbon, synthetic drop-in aviation and road transport fuel from municipal solid waste and waste woody biomass. This technology has been demonstrated at full commercial scale.

    Velocys is currently developing two integrated reference projects: one in Natchez, Mississippi, USA and one in Immingham, UK, to produce fuels that significantly reduce both greenhouse gas emissions and key exhaust pollutants. Ours is one of the few solutions available today for sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), which are critical to decarbonising aviation, especially long-haul.

    Velocys is actively involved with national and international organisations and governments in the common pursuit of zero greenhouse gas emissions via the effective roll-out of SAF supply.
