    Goals / Remit

Vitol sits at the heart of the world’s energy markets, serving as a high-volume, cost-efficient intermediary between producers and consumers. Every day we use our expertise and logistical network to distribute energy around the world, efficiently and responsibly.

Vitol recognises the challenges facing the environment and the need for a transition to cleaner forms of energy; we are investing in renewable technologies, as well as carbon capture initiatives. To date, Vitol has invested in a range of renewables projects, including wind, solar, and renewable natural gas, and continues to seek aligned opportunities across geographies. Our UK based CHP power plant, VPI Immingham, is one of Europe's most efficient.

With over 40 offices worldwide and infrastructure across every continent we are able to serve customers in all jurisdictions. Our grasp of major international trends is complemented by a detailed understanding of local market dynamics and requirements.
