    Communication activities

The ‘Seal of Cybersecurity’, the first colaborative project of a national tech cluster

The Spanish Cybersecurity Innovation Cluster has created the “Cybersecurity Seal", a colaborative project of a group of partners. This certification, which is the first one, includes the security requirements that any organization or company should comply with to demonstrate it has securely implemented physical and logical systems and measures to protect their assets against cyber threats.

Thanks to this innovative initiative and the support received from different institutions and spanish public Administrations, the AEI has landed in Europe.

Cyberwatching.eu project has as objective to become an observatory that collects and broadcasts innovative initiatives about Cybersecurity area in the European Union (at union or national level). Apart from this, the project will pun online a catalogue of innovative services in Cybersecurity. Our association is calling our members to communicate their initiatives and project to be included and broadcasted through the observatory.

    Other activities

The AEI represents the interests of Spanish companies in the European Cybersecurity Organization (ECSO)

As part of the EU cybersecurity strategy, the European Commission and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) signed a cPPP on 5 July 2016, at European Parliament in Strasbourg (France). The aim of the partnership is to foster cooperation between public and private actors at early stages of the research and innovation process in order to allow people in Europe to access innovative and trustworthy European solutions (ICT products, services and software). These solutions take into consideration fundamental rights, such as the right for privacy.

The AEI is part of ECSO Board of Director and the Parnership Board. Its task is to act as a representative of the spanish SMEs and stand up for their needs. The AEI has positioned the Castilla y León region as a referent, after the region working group meeting celebrated in Rennes (France).
