    ATAG provides a platform for commercial aviation to work together on long-term sustainability and climate issues. It is funded by its members across the aviation sector providing ATAG with a robust basis to speak with international decision-makers and represent a broad industry view. ATAG's mission is to define common solutions for the sector's long-term ability to provide connectivity and makes expert and constructive contributions to the industry and governmental processes. ATAG:
    - advocates for coordinated action on strategic issues and contributes to public policy debates;
    - mobilises the industry towards joint actions and promotion of a united vision;
    - carries out studies to develop consistent data and information;
    - proactively communicates aviation's positive contributions to the economy and social development;
    - plays an influential role in ensuring that aviation can continue to grow according to market demands and deliver economic and social benefits to the world.
