Environmental policy and economics
Amec Foster Wheeler’s Environmental Policy and Economics team provides advice on the current and upcoming policy agenda for government and industry. We cover all stages of policy formulation, development implementation and compliance. We have a predominant focus on activities in Europe and the UK and a long track record in work for the World Bank, the European Commission and EU government institutions, UK and other national governments and major organisations in the private sector.
With a reputation for objective and robust analysis, we maintain a leading position advising on a range of technical areas. We are currently delivering multi-national projects in industrial emissions (IED, MCPD), air quality (NECD), chemicals risk management (REACH and POPs), climate change (adaptation and mitigation such as EU ETS) as well as providing specialist input to major programmes led by our colleagues in waste and resources, renewable and conventional energy and water.
