Goals / Remit
The Danish Brewers’ Association (Bryggeriforeningen) was founded in 1899 and englobes all of the major breweries and bottleries in Denmark. Apart from beer and soft drinks, its members sell juice, cider, natural mineral water and other bottled waters.
The Danish Brewers’ Association works with policies and issues related to taxes, excise duties, packaging, marketing, competition, environment, food, alcohol policy and working environment.
The Danish Brewers’ Association has initiatives and campaigns for alcohol culture in youth environments where beer as a low-alcoholic beverage can engage in moderate quantities.
