    Goals / Remit

    The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international non‐governmental organisation serving and protecting uprooted people, refugees, internally displaced persons and migrants, regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality.
    The ICMC office in Brussels :
    -supports the ICMC Headquarters to advance the rights of refugees and migrants globally
    - promotes migrant rights and refugee protection in Europe.
    In addition, ICMC Europe implements EU and private donor financed programmes:
    -SHARE SIRA Project, which builds innovative and effective approaches to engaging local communities in actions to improve the orientation and integration of newcomers in rural territories across Europe.
    -SHARE QSN Project, which supports pilot and ad-hoc sponsorship initiatives develop into sustainable, community-driven programmes.
    -SPRING project, which develops a toolbox to improve the work done by Europe’s integration stakeholders at national, regional and local levels.

    Communication activities

    ICMC Europe engages with over 4,000 plus stakeholders across Europe through the SHARE Network (http://resettlement.eu/page/welcome-share-network).

    ICMC Europe also participates in many different policy platforms such as EPAM, VOICE, the Christian Group, and ECRE.

    In addition to project implementation, ICMC Europe organises panels, debates and discussions with the European Parliament, Member States, Economic and Social Committee, Committee of the Regions (CoR), ao to discuss research outcomes, best practices, and policy development particularly in the area of refugee protection integration and migration and development.

    ICMC Europe has published several publications for which we organize and launch debates and briefings with EP, Presidency, etc.
