Goals / Remit
ENORB aims to provide a civil society platform of different religions, beliefs and convictions to facilitate dialogue, combat discrimination and hatred, and promote the rights and freedoms enshrined the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights and in other international human rights conventions.
Main EU files targeted
Supporting the implementation of EU policies relating to The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
Acting as one of the European Equality Networks, along with ENAR, EWL, ILGA etc, along with for exchange on matters of European concern and policy.
Advocacy on issues concerning freedom of religions, beliefs and convictions in European institutions, such as EU Parliament, European Commission and relevant Directorates General, notably DG Justice, DGs Education and Culture and with wider public opinion.
Campaigning at European and member state levels against discrimination and hate crime on grounds of religion or belief, and for peace and equality across the public space

Publicity and dissemination of EU policies and ENORB related project findings designed enhance local action to improve freedom of religion or belief, and combat discrimination especially where there is social and sometimes governmental opposition to fundamental rights and freedoms - eg to manifest and express beliefs in the public space through dress or worship.Other activities

The Annual Colloquium on Fundamental Rights - DG Justice;
