    Goals / Remit

    Maldita.es es un medio sin ánimo de lucro cuyo fin es dotar a los ciudadanos de “herramientas para que no te la cuelen”. Maldita Hemeroteca, Maldito Bulo, Maldita Ciencia y Maldito Dato se centran en el control de la desinformación y el discurso público mediante técnicas de verificación de hechos (fact-checking) y periodismo de datos. Somos una fundación sin ánimo de lucro con tres objetivos principales:

    Monitorizar y controlar el discurso político y promover la transparencia en las instituciones públicas y privadas.

    Verificar y luchar contra la desinformación.

    Promover la alfabetización mediática y las herramientas tecnológicas para crear una comunidad consciente que pueda defenderse de la desinformación y se encuentre en todas las áreas.

    Estamos interesados en todas las propuestas o políticas relacionadas con la lucha de la desinformación en el discurso público, incluyendo: regulación de la libertad de expresión y las responsabilidades en el ámbito digital, esfuerzos de alfabetización mediática, campañas organizadas de influencia a través de la desinformación, regulación del contenido dañino en redes y otros soportes de comunicación, etc.

    Actualmente, las principales propuestas legislativas o políticas de la UE que son objeto de nuestro interés son la European Media Freedom Act, la AI Act, y la implementación de la Digital Services Act, la Digital Markets Act y el European Democracy Action Plan.
