    Getty Images is one of the world’s largest providers of original visual content. It supplies and creates imagery and video to customers globally for a wide variety of uses, including websites, books, newspapers, magazines, film and television production, advertisements, and product packaging. Included among Getty’s collection of original works are many of the most iconic, creative, and engaging photographic images ever created.

    Getty Images generates revenue primarily by licensing the rights to use content. In addition to owning content that it creates and licenses, Getty Images also acts as a distributor for more than 200,000 individual photographers, illustrators, and filmmakers and over 300 image partners comprising the world’s top media brands and other stock photo companies.
