Goals / Remit
Hunting for old vintage watches, reselling them fitted with bands from the right period, was a small side income
alongside a job as a nurse since 1999. In 2003, an estate was sold, turning the hobby into an official business.
Selling was done from a little room in our home, in the following years with staff during our children's early years. In 2014, the company went to a business unit. Several estates were purchased, the inventory grew accordingly. From Australia to Canada, even in Switzerland, Global Watch Straps is known for its collection of vintage timepieces, movements, spare parts and vintage straps.
The main goal is to help watchmakers and collectors find the perfect strap, part or even vintage movement to repair their watch with. By reselling this vintage stock, our buyers can repair, refurbish and reuse watches, making and keeping it circular and sustainable.Main EU files targeted
Any legislation that affects capacity to sell online and through marketplaces, e.g. product safety and sustainability rules
