INEOS is a global chemical company. Our products touch every aspect of modern day life.
INEOS comprises many businesses with ca 200 sites in 30 countries throughout the world, covering chemical and oil & gas industries, together with a number of consumer brands and sports interests.
Our chemical businesses are combined into larger financial groups; businesses include O&P EU/US, Oligomers, Oxide, Nitriles, Phenol, Styrolution, INOVYN, Aromatics, Acetyls, Enterprises, and more. We also operate a number of energy businesses in the North Sea, together with the Forties Pipeline System; and INEOS takes also part in a number of joint ventures.Main EU files targeted
Climate, energy and sustainability policy related initiatives are continuously followed at INEOS. This concerns inter alia relevant EU legislation, roadmaps, impact assessments and responses to consultations regarding emissions, energy, water, waste, resources, products, plastics, etc. from a policy, innovation, sustainability and advocacy perspective, framed by the European 2030 and 2050 strategies and ESG framework. The latter includes core areas for the chemical industry, such as SHE and REACH, next to social responsibilities (workforce, compliance, due diligence, etc.) and Group governance. This is in addition to any policy with impact on chemical industry strategies, competitiveness and global level playing fields.
