Goals / Remit
Mission
The DIA represents the interests of the Danish insurance and pension industry.
Vision
It is our vision that the industry is recognized as a significant player that contributes positively to the general sense of security and to solving the challengers of the welfare system.Main EU files targeted
Generally the DIA works on all files relating to financial services and products, in particular issues relating specifically to insurance and pension (both on pillar 1, 2 and 3 pensions).
We also work on issues relating to social and labour market policies, competition, data protection, company and contract law, substantibility in the financial sector, consumer protection and financial eductaion initiatives.
Moreover, we follow policies and initiatives relating to governance and decision making processes of all EU institutions and agencies.
Examples of specific issues that are important to the DIA:
Capital Market Union and the Juncker plan for investment and growth, Solvency II, IAIS, international capital standards, IDD, PRIIPs, IORP2, the coming PEPPs initiative, mortor liability directive, insurnace and liability connected with robotics etc., the digitalisation aganda, big data, data protection, the social rights pillar, ESA Review, product liability directive etc.Address
