    Das Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) ist am 01.10.2009 durch den Zusammenschluss des Forschungszentrums Karlsruhe und der Universität Karlsruhe entstanden. DAs KIT vereint somit die Aufgaben einer Universität des Landes Baden-Württemberg und einer Forschungseinrichtung der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft in Forschung, Lehre und Innovation. Es ist die Forschungsuniversität in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft. Ingenieurwissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften sowie Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften bilden den Fächerkanon des KIT. Die Forschung in diesen Bereichen erstreckt sich über die gesamte Bandbreite von Grundlagenforschung bis zu industrienaher, angewandter Forschung.

    1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice.
