The business was created to bring together products from retailers to enable consumers to compare shopping choices and find the best deals. It is part of Kelkoo Group which includes the LeGuide group and operates proprietary brands Kelkoo.com, Leguide.com and Ciao.com.

Our programme is two pronged; restoring choice and competition for consumers and creating a level playing field for small businesses in digital markets and calling for effective enforcement of the Google Shopping and Adsense Decisions.

    We maintain contact with the European Commission at key points and were invited to speak at its 5 December DMA Self-Preferencing Workshop hosted by Thomas Krammler and Filomena Chirico - please see below for detail. We are also in contact with the European Parliament as and when.

    Consultations:
    We submitted a response to the Digital Markets Act consultation, focusing on the Gatekeeper and Competition Tool proposals specifically. With the DMA in force, we continue sharing our views on the need for effective enforcement.

    European Commission DMA Self-Preferencing Workshop 5 December 2022:
    Kelkoo's CEO Richard Stables presented the business' view on creating an effective remedy and how a redistributive auction could be a viable alternative to restore fair and contestable digital markets.
