    Killybegs Fishermen's Organisation Ltd. (KFO) is a Producer Organisation (PO) incorporated under Irish and European law.

    The goals of the KFO are to ensure the members interests are represented within the boundaries of EU and national fisheries legislation, have access to all markets they are legally entitled to and are informed of changes including legislation, environmental and sustainability issues which may affect their fishing activities.

    KFO is governed by a Board drawn from members and re-elected annually. It is managed by a Chief Executive Officer who is instructed by the Board on matters of interest such as markets, technical developments, EU and national regulations, fishing opportunities and developments outside the fishing industry but which may directly or indirectly affect their business.
