Klarna was founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden, with the aim of creating trust online between
consumers and retailers. Globally, we now have over 150 million consumers and more than
450,000 retail partners across 45 countries. Those consumers make over 2 million purchases a
day using Klarna, and we have more than 70 million downloads of our app. At the core of our
mission is a set of promises to help consumers: save time, save money and worry less about their
