    EU Transparency Register

    569758814806-70 First registered on 29 Oct 2014

    Goals / Remit

LanzaTech’s gas fermentation technology produces fuel grade ethanol that can support Europe's renewable energy goal for transport. The process uses unavoidable waste gases from various sources and it meets the intent and qualifications of the Renewable Energy Directive and/or Fuel Quality Directive but was unknown when they were instituted.
Therefore we are actively engaged in obtaining acceptance under current or revised legislation in Europe.
LanzaTech has European and global supply chain partners and customers ready to finance and build plants in Europe. Yet legal certainty is a prerequisite to ensure a market for advanced biofuels derived from microbe-based technologies and secure these investments.
