Goals / Remit
NCRI works for human rights and democracy in Iran. It has been working closely with many MEPs in the past 15 years particularly with members who have been active with the informal inter-group Friends of a Free Iran. NCRI has been also working with many parliaments in different European countries and in the UN. NCRI's Brussels office (CNRI-BXL) is the liaison for contacts with European Parliament and EU institutions.
Main EU files targeted
EU's relations with Iran. We aim to shed light on and expose human rights violations in Iran and the spreading of Islamic Fundamentalism by the regime to the rest of the region. We advocate for EU's relations with Iran to be conditioned to the improvement of human rights and the abolition of death penalty.
