Goals / Remit
For PAE, quality of life for a chronic pain patient means giving the patient the right to choose the best possible solutions and support to live their life according to their possibilities and wishes.
PAE aims to promote awareness of chronic pain, to contribute to creating a European policy on chronic pain and to reduce the impact of chronic pain on the European society on all areas.
In order to reach our goals, PAE initiates and develops the following actions:
Working in close relation with the other stakeholders
Gather and distribute relative information on chronic pain from the patients' point of view.
Establish a good relationship with potential sponsors
Promote and or initiate research on chronic pain
Growing the association
Obtaining visibility through events, website, media coverageMain EU files targeted
Through our partnership with the European Pain Federation (EFIC) in the Societal Impact of Pain Platform (SIP) ( See details below)
We responded to the EU Health Data Space Plan, Healthy Workplaces, and the Beating Cancer Plan and developed position papers from the pain perspective.
