Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia is a trade union organisation with the longest tradition in Serbia (since 1903). Today we focus on advocating workers' rights and promoting social justice in Serbia. We do that by promoting social dialogue on national level, establishing new social-economic councils throughout Serbia, establishing new unions in companies, fighting for occupational safety and health, building capacities of our members, promotion of position of women and youth, both in society and within trade union.
The SSSS is organisation of workers and performs its role independently of political parties and movements, by using means and instruments of union activism, bargaining and struggle in relation to employers, Government and other national bodies and institutions of the system, as well through cooperation with other union confederations in Republic of Serbia.
