    Goals / Remit

    SEAP is the Society of European Affairs Professionals, the recognised organisation of all EU public affairs professionals including those operating in trade associations, corporations, consultancies, not for profits and other representative bodies. SEAP operates a Code of Conduct/Professional Standards and represents European Affairs Professionals’ interests to the EU institutions since 1997.

    Our Vision - To advance the European affairs profession so that it will contribute to ever-better policy outcomes.

    Our Mission - To be the trust mark of the profession by setting and promoting standards of ethical conduct; To provide practical support and networking for members; To be an authoritative representative for the interests of the profession to the EU institutions, stakeholders and the public.

    Our Values - In pursuit of its Mission SEAP will uphold the Values of Integrity, Transparency, Accuracy, and Confidentiality.

    SEAP follows all initiatives related to the Regulation of Transparency and the Regulation of the professional activities of European affairs professionals.

    Currently, SEAP's activities are focused on:
    - Codes of Conduct in all EU Institutions;
    - Inter-Institutional Agreement on a Mandatory Register for Lobbyists;
