Goals / Remit
Cordaid (Catholic Organisation for Relief & Development Aid) is één van de grootste ontwikkelingsorganisaties in Nederland, met een netwerk van bijna 850 partnerorganisaties in 30 landen in Afrika, Azië, het Midden-Oosten en Latijns-Amerika. We hebben al bijna 100 jaar ervaring op het gebied van noodhulp, ontwikkelingssamenwerking en armoedebestrijding. Met de fusie in 1999 van Memisa, Mensen in Nood en Cebemo (Vastenaktie) is Cordaid gegroeid van een traditionele, zendende hulporganisatie naar een ontwikkelingsorganisatie die gelooft in wederzijdse samenwerking. In Nederland heeft Cordaid zo’n 370.000 donateurs en 23.000 vrijwilligers.
