The WMA exists to support its members and their clients through education and engagement, advocacy and influence, research and analysis and by playing an active role as a facilitator and thought leader.
Through these objectives we aim to ensure that legislative and regulatory changes, including operational, regulatory and tax, across Europe and the rest of the world are appropriate for the range of different firms offering wealth management services, and their underlying clients.
This involves ensuring that policy clearly differentiates between the different business models operated in the financial services sector, and the risks they raise both for their retail clients and wider society.- Meetings
