Goals / Remit
the3million is a not for profit grassroots organisation which campaigns to protect the rights of EU citizens in the UK in post-Brexit context.
It took its name in 2016 from the estimated number (at the time) of EU citizens who moved from another member state to live and work and have established their lives in the UK, many for a very long time.
It aims to offer a support network for EU citizens living in the UK;
It works with the British Government and the European Union to find a solution to protect the rights of all EU citizens in the UK for now and the future;
It engages with trade unions, businesses and public sector organisations to support their EU workers.Main EU files targeted
Brexit negotiations; EU citizens' rights initiatives, voting rights, social security rights, freedom of movement securities within the future relationship
