- Desing and optimize a pilot-scale CO2 capture & convert unit specifically adapted for a cement plant. The unit will capture CO2 from flue gases and convert it to cement additives (calcium carbonate nanoparticles, formic acid & oxalic acid) and additive for CO2 capturing agents (glycine). The project will result in a pilot-scale demonstration at TITAN plant (Kamari - TBC), aiming to treat 50 m3 of flue gases per hour.

CARMOF
- Design and build a pilot-scale unit for post-combustion CO2 capture, customized for cement, petrol, and steel industry. The unit will be based on novel materials (Metal-organic frameworks & Carbon Nanotubes), supported on high packed density & low-pressure drop structures prepared with 3D printing technologies. The project will result in a pilot-scale demonstration at TITAN plant (Kamari - TBC), aiming to treat 250 m3 of CO2 per day.

- Upscaling and testing of multifunctional lightweight concrete and ceramic materials by providing open access to SMEs or Industry to a single entry point ecosystem, covering a large range of end applications from constructions materials (bricks, ceramic tiles), infrastructures (ready mix concrete, prefabricated components), to high tech applications in automotive & aerospace industry.
