Complementary Information
We are a voluntary organisation with a centrally supported secretariat. Our members in those EU countries that are in the vanguard of the citizen science movement have engaged up to 10% of their national populations. Through our links to the Natural History Museums in all the major EU Member States we have the potential to reach millions of EU citizens. ECSA has set itself the target to engage 10% of the EU population in citizen science programme within 10 years.
