Goals / Remit
For more than 30 years, Vestas has designed, developed, manufactured, and serviced wind turbines. Vestas has delivered wind power plants in 73 countries, providing jobs for around 17,000 people at our service and project sites, technology facilities, factories, assembly sites and offices all over the world. With 62 per cent more megawatts installed than our closest competitor, Vestas has installed over 60GW of the world’s capacity, averting over 60 million tons of CO2 emissions annually. In 2013 alone, Vestas installed 2.9GW in Europe, providing enough energy to power 470,000 homes.
