    During the reorganization and consolidation process of universities in Lithuania, the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and Aleksandras Stulginskis University were both integrated into Vytautas Magnus University. The terms of the reorganization of universities were approved by Resolution of Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania 2018 June 5, No. XIII-1229 "On the reorganization of the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and Aleksandras Stulginskis University by integrating both universities into Vytautas Magnus University and on the approval of the Statute of Vytautas Magnus University.
