    Eine bewohnbare Erde für alle. Dafür tritt der Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e. V. (BUND) als großer unabhängiger und gemeinnütziger Verband ein. Wir verstehen uns als treibende gesellschaftliche Kraft für ökologische Erneuerung, soziale Gerechtigkeit und nachhaltige Entwicklung. Eine zukunftsfähige Landwirtschaft kann dazu einen wesentlichen Beitrag leisten. Sie ist einer der Schwerpunkte unserer Arbeit.

    Wir engagieren uns für eine bäuerlich-ökologische Landwirtschaft, gesunde Lebensmittel, den Schutz des Klimas, der Wälder und des Wassers, für den Ausbau regenerativer Energien und für bedrohte Lebensräume und Arten.

    Der BUND ist mit mehr als 650.000 Mitgliedern und Unterstützer*innen einer der größten Umweltverbände Deutschlands. Mit 16 Landesverbänden und 2.000 lokalen Gruppen ist er im ganzen Land aktiv und erreichbar. Der BUND ist Mitglied des internationalen Netzwerks Friends of the Earth International (FoEI) und hat Partnerorganisationen in 72 Ländern.
