Climate-KIC catalyses systemic change through innovation in areas of human activity that have a critical impact on greenhouse gas emissions and to create climate resilient communities. Climate-KIC is established and funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of the European Union. EIT Climate-KIC has developed the world’s most extensive climate tech accelerator, supporting over 2100 climate-positive businesses, who have raised more than €2.0bn in follow-on investment and created over 15,000 jobs since 2010. It has strengthened the climate leadership potential of more than 58,000 participants of our education programmes. Climate KIC also built the world’s biggest green start-up ideas competition Climate Launchpad, across 46 countries and the led annual Climathon event in 100 cities.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
