Goals / Remit
Le CC SUD rassemble tous les acteurs ayant un intérêt dans la gestion de la pêche pour proposer à la Commission Européenne et aux Etats Membres des avis sur la gestion des pêches en Atlantique Sud. Le CC SUD est l’un des Conseils Consultatifs établis par la volonté des institutions européennes, afin d’encourager la participation des parties intéressées pour atteindre les objectifs de pêche durable fixés par la Politique Commune de la Pêche.
Depuis notre création en 2007, notre mission est de contribuer à atteindre les objectifs d'une pêche durable fixés par la Politique Commune de la Pêche. En intégrant l'approche écosystémique et en se fondant sur le principe de précaution.
Le CC SUD doit donc :
* Proposer à la Commission Européenne et aux Etats Membres les avis issus d'un consensus entre le secteur de la pêche et la société civile.
* Répondre aux différentes consultations (communications, propositions de Règlement, …) lancées par la Commission Européenne.Main EU files targeted
Le CC SUD est en contact régulier avec la Commission Européenne sur la Politique Commune de la pêche
