    Goals / Remit

    EUCOPRO is composed by Waste Treatment companies that prepare waste alternative fuels and raw material mainly from hazardous waste, with the aim of recovering them in co-processing processes, such as cement kilns.
    Its main objectives are:
    - Being associated in preparation for legislative, regulatory and/or standardisation measures with a link to the activities of Association members, and to monitor their implementation,
    - Conducting or monitoring all studies with a link to the activities of association members,
    - Defining the criteria for the best available technologies in a context of sustainable development,
    - Promoting and publicising the activities of members.

    - Waste treatment BREF and Waste incineration BREF reviews,
    - Industriel emissions regulatory topics,
    - Waste regulatory topics included waste shipment,
    - Waste studies managed by the Commission (e.g.Hp14 criteria, definition and classification of waste, hazardous waste management improvement, ...),
    - Circular economy approach and linked draft regulatory documents,
    - Ressource and Energy strategies and efficiency topics
