EFFRA is in contact with, and works closely with, European Commissions staff because EFFRA is the official representative of the private side in the European Union's 'Factories of the Future' public-private partnership. EFFRA undertakes activities to promote the EU's 'Factories of the Future' public-private partnership, pre-competitive trans-European collaboration between industry, research and academia and also promotes the activities of 'Factories of the Future' projects across Europe.
